Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, while delivering a speech at the UN on Tuesday, said that the problem on Kashmir has been going on for 74 years. when India's Foreign Minister S Jaishankar came to speak, he raised the issue of Cyprus. The UN has passed a resolution on this issue, which Turkey does not accept. Jaishankar did not stop here, he had a bilateral meeting with Cyprus Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides.
Jaishankar said that the resolution passed in the UN regarding Cyprus should be followed. The next day on Wednesday, Jaishankar shared a photo of his meeting with Christodoulides on social media. Jaishankar wrote that both the countries are emphasizing on strengthening their relationship. Let us inform that in the past, Erdogan has raised the issue of Kashmir in the UN.
